About The Softball Clinic Coaches
At The Softball Clinic our staff has years of successful experience in the game of Fastpitch Softball as high level players, Coaches and instructors who are respected for their game day and practice management skills. Our Contributing Staff are some of the best softball minds around plus you never know who'll be stopping by for an interview.
Coach Monroe
Coach Monroe played 16 seasons of Men's A and Major Division Fastpitch Softball. As an outfielder he was voted 1st team All Northern California for three consecutive years in the mid 1980's. Other notable selections on these all Nor-Cal teams were: Peter Finn, ISC Hall of Fame (pitcher) , Steve Padilla, former Pan - American player and Woman's Softball Pan - American pitching coach, Chuck Caldera, former San Jose State and current Notre Dame de Namur Woman's college softball pitching coach, Pete Turner Jr. ASA Hall of Fame and current San Jose State Head Softball Coach, and Chuck D'arcy ASA Hall of Fame and 2008 US Olympic Softball pitching coach.
Coach Monroe played in the 1989 Olympic Festival, and was voted 2nd team All American in the 1991 ASA "A" Men's National Tournament in Boulder Colorado.
